Bank Statement Processing

Cocoonn provides an optional feature that allows users to upload a bank statement PDF for automatic transaction categorization.

When a bank statement is uploaded:

• Only transaction-related information such as merchant name, date, and transaction amount is extracted.

• Sensitive financial details including bank account numbers, IFSC codes, or other banking identifiers are filtered and excluded.

• The uploaded PDF file is deleted after the transaction data has been extracted and processed.

Bank statements are not permanently stored by the application.

Artificial Intelligence Processing

To improve the user experience, Cocoonn uses an artificial intelligence service to categorize financial transactions.

Before any data is processed by the AI system:

• Sensitive financial identifiers are removed.

• Only transaction details necessary for categorization are processed.

The AI service is used solely for categorizing transactions into predefined expense categories and improving financial insights for the user.

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data").

This Usage Data may include information such as:
